Privacy policy

This policy explains what Paws At You AI (pawsatyouai.app, run by Paws At You AI, "we") collects and what happens to it. The short version: your photo is used only to make your video, nothing is shown publicly, and our storage deletes photos within 24 hours and videos after 7 days.

What we collect

• Account data: your email address, name and profile picture if you sign in with Google, a hashed password if you use email, and session records (IP address and browser) that keep you signed in.
• Your pet photo. Before it leaves your device your browser resizes it and removes its metadata, such as GPS location.
• Videos generated from your photo.
• Purchases: the pack you bought, the amount and the order ID. Card and billing details go to our payment provider, not to us.
• Credit history: credits bought, held, charged and returned.
• If analytics is enabled: page views and button clicks, without your photo.

How we use it

• To run your account, sell and track credits, and make, store and deliver your videos.
• To prevent abuse and enforce the Acceptable Use Policy.
• To answer your messages.

We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or show your photos or videos to anyone else. We do not use your photos or videos to train AI models.

Who processes it

• Our AI video provider creates the video from a short-lived link to your photo and a fixed description of the scene. It processes the data only to provide that service to us, does not use it to train AI models, and keeps it according to its own data handling terms.
• Waffo is our merchant of record: it processes payments, taxes and invoices for credit packs.
• Cloudflare (R2) stores photos and videos for us, privately.
• Our hosting and database providers run the site and keep short-lived server logs.
• Our email provider sends account emails (for example password resets).

They process data only to provide their service to us.

How long it is kept

• Pet photo: deleted from our storage right after your video is ready, and in any case within 24 hours.
• Videos: downloadable for 7 days, then deleted from our storage.
• Job records (status, quality, credits, timestamps): kept while your account exists, so your credit history stays correct.
• Account and purchase records: while your account exists, and purchase records as long as tax law requires.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU and UK, or the CCPA in California) you can ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or object to how it is used. Delete your videos and photos any time on the Delete my data page, delete your account from your dashboard, or email hello@pawsatyouai.app.

Children

Paws At You AI is not meant for children under 13, and photos may show animals only, never people.

Changes
