"paws at you" is a roleplay-style caption that took off on X and TikTok in late October 2026. It pairs an animal reaching a paw toward the camera with a soft, slightly relentless request: "*paws at you* can we raid?"
Where it came from
The version that spread first was a photo of a snow leopard stretching one big paw toward the lens. The caption did the rest. Within days people were replying to friends with their own "paws at you" asks.
What the asterisks mean
In chat and roleplay, words between asterisks describe an action instead of speech. So "*paws at you*" means the poster is pawing at you through the screen, the way a cat taps your arm when it wants something. The request that follows is the point.
How people use it
- Gaming invites: "*paws at you* can we raid?", "*paws at you* one more match?", "*paws at you* hop online"
- Streams: "*paws at you* stream your game"
- Attention: "*paws at you* do you still love me"
It works because it is impossible to say no to an animal that is politely, repeatedly pawing at you.
How to make one with your own pet
- Take or pick a photo of your pet facing the camera, chest up, with its front paws in view.
- Upload it on Paws At You AI and pick 720p or 1080p.
- In 1 to 3 minutes you get a 5-second vertical video: your pet comes up to the lens and paws at it.
- Download the MP4 and post it with your own "*paws at you*" line, or send it to the friend who still hasn't hopped online.
A 720p video costs 59 credits and a 1080p video 89 credits.
Is Paws At You AI connected to the original meme?
No. Paws At You AI is an independent, fan-made tool. It does not use the original images; it makes a new AI video from your own pet's photo.
